#5 which goes along with this site mockup by @michaeltroy http://flic.kr/p/7g6pSE

I like number 2 much better. It’s something I could see being advertised on more sites, and it’s more ’social’ looking, which is where the whole net is going!
PS – I’ll be at the first breakfast/lunch/dinner you guys have!

I like number 7 – maybe without the text under it. The logo speaks for itself.

#4… just because…

I’m a big fan of #3. #5 is nice but a bit to reminiscent of TED for some reason to me…
Comment by Scott — November 20, 2009 @ 1:05 pm
#5 & #8 mash-up

Nr. 5 definitly.
Comment by Rob — November 21, 2009 @ 5:15 am
number 3
Comment by Ruben A. Garcia — November 21, 2009 @ 11:49 am
#1 looks like a movie logo. #2 looks like a hockey team logo. #3 is probably the best, but it’s a little too on the nose and not creative enough for my money. #4 isn’t creative enough. #5…….. it’s a circle. No creativity, but I like the text. #6 good, but not as good as #3. #7 what kind of symbol is that? #8 LOFREAKINL – but not for a serious Angel Investment company. #9 is that supposed to be Open Angel Forum or Angel Open Forum? To confusing, moving on. I like #3 the best. Ah who knows, maybe I’ll even try one of my own.

Number 5,
I like Number 2, but it doesn’t match the style of the individuals involved very well
Comment by mikal — November 21, 2009 @ 5:21 pm
on second thought. Number 5 has a clear resemblance to Obama for America logo, so I’d rule that out for that reason alone.
Comment by Mikal — November 21, 2009 @ 6:19 pm
It’s gotta be #5.
Comment by Garth — November 21, 2009 @ 6:34 pm
#5 is really, really clean. It gets my vote for sure.
Comment by Markus Olausson — November 22, 2009 @ 2:50 am
Number 5 if your looking for professional sophisticated look and Number 2 if you are looking for fresh youthfull look.
Comment by Samuel — November 22, 2009 @ 7:02 am
No. 5 definitely!
Comment by Kuldeep Kapade — November 22, 2009 @ 7:21 am
“#5…….. it’s a circle” – Troy
LOL I love this comment. BTW I created that “circle”.
Love it
Comment by Michael Troy — November 22, 2009 @ 3:27 pm
5 – I like the bold lettering and simplicity.
Comment by Chris Herbert — November 22, 2009 @ 6:49 pm
#1. It has a clean professional look and it actually has the work “investors”, making the mission a little more clear for people seeing it for the first time.
Comment by Ray Shaw — November 22, 2009 @ 8:36 pm
5, 6, 4, 3, in that order. 5 is pretty dynamic; the colours can be changed to suit a lot of different ads/documents/media
Comment by Kashif Pasta — November 22, 2009 @ 9:00 pm
I like 5 with the blue circle with 7 as my second choice.
Comment by BigStartups — November 22, 2009 @ 11:52 pm
#5. Clean, a classic angel symbol, also stands for working together (round table). But not the yellow version, it’s too pale.
Comment by Aviah Laor — November 23, 2009 @ 2:38 pm
Wow. The last time I was here #10 didn’t pop up. I like that one.
Comment by Troy — November 23, 2009 @ 7:08 pm
Logos should be dead simple and usable for any type of media. There’s a lot of graphic intensive choice on here, but they probably won’t work well in most mediums. I’d go for #5, seems like it would translate well to business cards, print materials, etc.
Comment by Matthew Paulson — November 23, 2009 @ 9:07 pm
I would personally go for #2 and #5 as they have the cleanest and simplest look. Though #5 is really interesting and probably the best of them all, there are challenges though that you would face with #5 that you wouldn’t with #2 and that is primary the gradient. Print is not as simple as screen and if you notice the gradients are made up of two different PMS colors and though they look similar they aren’t. What this means is that the print results may not look as originally intended because they will dither the inks to create the illusion of fading from dark to light to white. Complication like that generally are things I avoid but if cost is not an issue some one could certainly make it a multi-color job to make that gradient perfect.

#5 takes it for me. But I like how #2 represents the angel’s wings, but also looks like a big middle finger to keiretsu.
Comment by sessoms — November 26, 2009 @ 8:14 am
I vote for #5.
Comment by Arman Arami — November 27, 2009 @ 7:55 am
8 is cute but 5 means serious business.
Comment by jen — November 30, 2009 @ 9:50 am
#5 or #1
as everyone else!
Comment by Michael Jung — November 30, 2009 @ 1:14 pm
Number 7. 5 is too common. Everyone has circles.
Comment by tim — December 1, 2009 @ 8:38 am
#2 no doubt..clean and simple. KISS

Prefer #5 together with the text.
It is simple, visual, and transmits the message.

3, and 8, then 5…
Comment by Jesse — December 10, 2009 @ 1:23 pm
From some who used to work in a company that was super brand conscious, I would pick Number 1. Clean square look – a good image, it would be nicer if your designer threw in some red. A visible strong mark.
#2 a fair second choice but the implication of the wings is that you take our money and go bye bye.. the others are fuzzy, work in progress types.
Comment by SFGary — December 11, 2009 @ 1:56 am
I would have to vote for 1;
But, better ask what the marketplace thinks;
Just post the question on Qwanz.com and get the public at large to answer;
You will even get detailed stats as to who thinks what by income level, age, education, country, etc.
Just send embed a poll on this site and you will get the results and then some…
Best of luck with it and your endeavors.

I love #4, but can’t recommend it for the obvious reasons… and so I officially recommend #5.
Comment by Daniel Weisman — December 13, 2009 @ 5:31 pm
No. 1. By far.
Comment by Sam Clark — December 13, 2009 @ 9:19 pm
#5 is by far the best

I like #2. Simple and recognizable
Comment by Dan King — December 18, 2009 @ 5:09 am
#3 is cool.
Comment by Louise — December 18, 2009 @ 2:40 pm
Number 2 has the all-access appeal factor
Comment by Alma — December 20, 2009 @ 10:46 pm
#7 gets my vote
Comment by Ryan Born — December 21, 2009 @ 12:43 pm
#8 love the bulldog!
Comment by Scott Nixon — January 4, 2010 @ 2:28 pm
Number 1!
Comment by Kevin Selle — January 4, 2010 @ 5:36 pm
I like #1 but after seeing #8 what better visual representation is there just says it all is this not the mind set you must have everyday, although some may not get it so I’d go with #1
Comment by Wayne Steiger — January 8, 2010 @ 7:17 am
#4 FTW. No, seriously, I vote for #7.
Comment by Kit Seeborg — February 2, 2010 @ 1:59 pm
#1 or #10 – I like em both! #8 for fun.
Comment by Michael Riordan — February 3, 2010 @ 2:17 pm
Number 5 – the one you’re currently using. It looks very clean and put together and grabbed my attention right away!
